I have a passion for aiding and abetting in the creation of software that is both useable and, at its best, delightful. My work takes many official and unofficial forms, including quality assurance and testing, business analysis, project management, group facilitation, and conflict negotiation. I subscribe to the context driven approach to all of my tasks and feel that there will never be a silver bullet for any business process, much less software processes.
I have a weakness for interesting challenges and apparent paradoxes, and a strong belief that there are always multiple valid viewpoints in any issue. This means that I can end up arguing against my original premise as easily as for it and that I am always interested in what makes sense to others and why. On the other hand, I don’t believe that egos and prejudice help in any intellectual discussion and seek to identify and concede my biases whenever possible. Having said that, I’m sure I fail at times and am very open to being made aware of any apparent hypocrisy!
